Strategy for short term hold of rehab property

I am currently rehabbing a SFR that I intend to flip. Purchased in mid-January, should be completed 1 July or so. I want to avoid short-term capital gains by holding at least a year. What is the best strategy, as our rehab inputs are targeted toward a sale, not a short-term rental.
