How long will it take to receive the funds after meeting at the Title Company for Closing?
Hello everyone,
I primarily do buy and holds with rental properties, but I have been seeing more and more opportunity in fix and flips.
With this being said I am set to Close on a fix and flip on April 23rd.
I just wanted some advice as to what to expect as far as the time frame goes. I financed the property and have about 40k left on the mortgage, the sale price is 120k. So after closing costs ect. there will be a nice chunk of change left.
So my question is how long will it take for this money to transfer to my account?
Thanks for all the advice in advance!
Michael

In my experience, I have always received the check at closing. A check is issued to the mortgagor for your mortgage and the difference to you by cashier's check. Not sure why it would be done any other way. Maybe others have a different experience.
