Marketing - Door Hangers
Has anyone used door hangers as a marketing strategy and tracked your response rate? Or even have a general opinion about your estimated response rate? Best of all, have you done this in conparison to direct mail? I'm really considering trying this.
If you have ever ordered them can you recommend a company to purchase from or if you've had a negative experience with a particular company please let me know. I would prefer to order online and would like to use a premade template. Thank You

Door hangers for me are 10x more effective than mail let me explain why...
My response rate in the mail has been horrible and it was once explained to me that more times than not that with today's technology resources good news travels fast, traditional mail is left for paper BILLS owed. Not exactly the right time to pitch someone a service when they are reviewing what is owed on their credit cards, mortgages, car loans and taxes...seems logical.
The idea behind advertising is to grab consumer attention briefly before they pitch it in the trash and thus having a shot at it registering with them. When a message is hung on the door (preferably in plastic bags so it doesn't get destroyed by foul weather), the consumer will absolutely look at the message before pitching. For my company, the response is many times more effective.
Keep in mind if you cut corners on your advertising that also sends a message that you may do the same on the job. Make sure to use a high quality card stock that is UV coated, include your license number and above all be brief. Nobody will read a paragraph on the way to the trash.
This comes from two decades of experience of which I have failed many times before perfected my message.
Not sure what you would pay but here in Chicago I pay $160 per 1000 for delivery with bags and the company is legit meaning they don't end up in the trash!
