GI Bill for buying a rental property (single family)

Hi everyone!

Do any of you have experience in using a VA Loan on a property?

This is my situation. My father wants to transfer his VA Loan privilege to me so I can buy a single-family rental property. I called Chase Bank and they said that Chase would not accept any transfers on a VA Loan. I will follow-up and call smaller banks but I'm thinking why would a VA Loan be transferable if it's not allowed? Their has to be a way this can work. I welcome and am excited to hear your thoughts, suggestions or experience on this subject. Thanks!

Donna
