Crowdfunding is certainly is the future of funding Real Estate deals, but how long till the regulations roll out.  It is the wild west right now (as it always is with new product) and some people are going to get burned.

Make sure you read the fine print on the paperwork if you are investing in a crowdfunding portal.  There are several reputable ones out there, and the experience can be a positive. Like any new investment, take caution.
