Auction.com

I have been watching a property on auction.com for about two months. I bid on it but didn't win. Then I saw that it went back on auction the next week. This has happened five times since then. 

The property is an REO foreclosure. The numbers are what they are, so the bids keep coming in about the same. Is auction.com for real or are the banks just using it to look like they're trying to get rid of their REOs?
