NAR votes to allow Brokerages to display sold data
There is a fairly significant change in the in MLS policies. NAR has voted to allow brokerage sites to display sold data without requiring passwords.
From Inman "With the vote, multiple listing services must now allow brokers to display a minimum of three years of sold listing data on their non-password-protected websites — but only if the sold data is already publicly available."
This could potentially increase the number of apps and software developed using MLS data. For non agents, this would allow you to view sold info without access to the MLS.
