Cheap Siding
Is vinyl siding the cheapest way to side a home? I just bought a small rental home that has asphalt shingles for siding. It looks terrible. I am removing the shingles and will replace the siding. Please let me know if you know of a cheap alternative to put siding on a home.
Thanks!

Yes. Stick with their standard colours (not Premium). Don’t go over the shingles, anyone stupid enough to cut a corner like that has likely covered up another problem so be prepared if you find sheeting issues. And I would fully expect to find future unexpected stupidity.
