Direct Mail Marketing Suggestions?

Hi All,

Looking to start a direct mail marketing campaign and curious to hear the pros and cons of managing the campaign yourself vs. subbing out the campaign to a service provider.  If the DIY time is minimal and much cheaper than hiring a company for that service, I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts on the type of information I should be requesting (and from who) that could help me best capture my target market.
