how long do you typically end up hunting till you find a deal?

So I have been actively searching for the last 2 months for a flip or a rental property that was a good deal. I found 1 that was a slightly better than average IMO. im open to flips and rentals but am particularly searching for a rental. 

I know each persons criteria are different but just curious how long does typically take you when you are actively searching until you find your rental or flip? (whichever your case may be)
