Greetings friends,

I am a newbie when it comes to buying real estate property. I am interested in purchasing my first home and I am in desperate need for some advice or guidance. I would like to know the steps or procedures to buying a home. Based upon my knowledge I don't need a realtor to find, locate, or buy a home, correct? I recalled inquiring about a home for sale in my local community and the broker tried to offer or persuade me to use one of their real estate associate to aid in my search. I really need help guys so any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
