Too Much Fun!
my 20 year old son closed on his house on Monday. It needs tons of cosmetic work. Now,I grew up in an era where girls did girl things and guys did guy things. Right now, most of my peers with a similar cancer prognosis are in wheel chairs or already gone. I am blessed because I [so far]am being blessed with the opportunity to live until I die. and I am having SO much fun playing with power tools, learning how to sand floors [ yes, I am using very special masks and all sorts of protection because of a supressed immune system] and I am getting ready to tackle repairing huge holes in the plaster walls that have concrete under them. And my son and I are having a blast figuring out how to do these things together. It feels like Christmas!
