Data mining and Real Estate statistics

Hi Forum members - this is a great community and glad to join. Looking forward to interacting with everyone.

Quick question regarding Real Estate statistics and tools you use for different strategies you use for your investments or personal buying/selling.

The reason I ask, is because it seems the Real Estate website are beginning to implement statistics to support the listings (Zillow, Redfin, etc). As I dive into the numbers, they are very general. Are there tools that provide users the customization to analyze different markets, locations, etc.

Would greatly appreciate any insight or experiences you have had with data mining and statistics in your ventures. Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Eric
