Using more than 1 Real Estate Agent

When purchasing investment real estate, is it a good idea or bad idea to use more than one real estate agent.

Here is the situation I see -

My current real estate agent helped me buy my last investment property and has some knowledge about what to look for in properties and gives me some above average advice. My concern is that most of his listed real estate is in one part of my county but some of the properties I will be researching are in a different part of the county. Should I have different real estate agents covering different parts of the county so they have an excellent feel for their area of expertise or does it really matter. How is this handled by the seasoned professional investors?
