Property ok but neighbors have issues

I looked at a property in NJ. The house was not that bad a shape. 3bd 1 bath. on 1/2 acre asking 74000. The neighbor had a kennel with old cars all over the place. I told the agent no matter what I paid for it I could not sell it. Did I make a mistake?

You did the right thing. You will definitely have trouble finding a buyer willing to put up with a neighbor like that.
