Live and Flip
What’s going on guys?
I’m in the process of buying my second home. I have plans to upgrade the interior as I’ve heard about the “live and flip” concept from a bigger pockets podcast episode about getting started in real estate. Essentially, I want to renovate and upgrade the property while living in it as my primary residence and force appreciation. After 1-2 years, I’ll then sell it or rent it out. I was wondering what advice you guys had!
What kind of renovations have the best ROI?
should I pay a professional to do the work or do I attempt DIY? (I have little to no experience)
Does anyone have any advice? What’s the good, bad and the ugly? Is this even a good idea?
