How are people currently viewing the market in the SF Bay Area for Buying/Selling?

Posted

Title says it all. The market for buying in South Bay and East Bay still seems pretty competitive. San Francisco though seems to be pretty volatile, especially because many companies are moving out of the city to South Bay due to the ongoing homelessness crisis in the city. While new startups and VCs are setting up shop in the city because commercial office space is super cheap, it seems like it will take a few years for residential home values to stabilize. That said, I'm sure there's more people here more familiar with the market in SF who can speak to it a lot better. Thoughts?
