Looking for Investors in Houston
Hi Everyone,
My name's Brian Schroeder. I'm currently working in affordable housing development.
I am looking to acquire 2-4 units in Houston, TX by the end of the year and I'm looking for an investor to enter into the deal with.
Thesis: Buying a property before rates decline will allow for appreciation as demand rises.
Location: I am looking for properties in Houston's South Medical District given the Helix project.
Financing Options: I have spoken to a lender who will provide a loan at 0% down and a 7.5% interest rate. The issue with this is that the high leverage and high rate does not allow for cashflow in most cases.
My question: Does anybody know of any ways to make a deal work with minimum down payments? If not, does anybody want to join me in funding a down payment? Myself and my partner are able to put up a combined 30,000.
