How to be able to use a FHA loan if I sell my house

I am going to see my home in California next year, purchased with a FHA loan. I am moving to New England , and want to purchase another home with a FHA loan . How quickly will I need to do that?

And not related to FHA, but very important - how quickly do I have to purchase to get the best tax benefits?
