Inherited or gift

Daniel Medina
Posted

Hello. I need some advice. I live in Florida. I have an Uncle who would like to me to inherite his belongings upon his passing. He owns a trailer mobile home in LA county. Trailer value is about $40,000. The title is in his name and my Aunt name. She recently passed away. He has no wife or children. My question are, should we remove her name from the title and add mine?  Do I  just do a Will stating that he leaves all his personal belongings to me?  Would I need to pay taxes if I inherite /gift the belongings. I just need some directions . Thanks for any advise. Danny
