Sold before Print

Richard R.
Posted

I watch a particular city closely and on occasion I have seen listings on the MLS that simply state " Sold before Print ". My thought behind why this is done is for comps.

However, I recently saw one for a particular property model that I follow very closely and the selling price listed is close to 30% less than current market value.  This is an area that is still bringing multiple offers on day one.

So, why post this for a comp when it really doesn't showcase current market?  From my view, it looks like the agent didn't do well for their client.

And, I am sure there is more than one reason to post " sold before print ", what are the other reasons?

Thanks and enjoy you day!
