Rental at Everett vs Redmond

Posted

In general, I see the rent in Everett and Redmond different only by approx. few hundred dollars while the house price is almost double. I am wondering who is renting a house for $3500 at Everett when similar house is available at Redmond for $3900. What is the catch here?

Commute and location is a big deal. Redmond is close to Kirkland, Bellevue, Sammamish, and Seattle, significantly contributing to property value. The average income in Redmond is also more than double that of Everett since there are more opportunities for career growth within the Middle Eastside.

Are you thinking of which one to invest in?
