I have a town home i brought it for 200k, and added 5k to renovate. The rent i get is around $1650. My total expense including everything (mortgage, tax, maintenance, property mgmt company) is 1500. I have rented this for last 6 months, did not had a very good experience with renters, fixing place etc.The place is in Edison, NJ.

I am planning to move out of country this year (around May/June) for another 8-9 yrs.I am confused should i sell the home or keep it.How have been the experience of folks who have rented the place and are far away from the property for longer time.If i decide to rent it further what the things i should be aware of to make this smoother for me...Any help will be please appreciated.

Thank you
