Searching for property within 1 mile range?

Hello,

For some it may sound wierd. But wierd can also happen :).

I am buying a property to rent out, because a friend of mine not in a situation to buy has agreed to rent from me. Since it is a friends family, they have given me an address and want to look for properties in the area they would like to live.

So folks, besides everything that all of your mind wanders with the mentioned plan, my basic question is "How do I find a property to buy within a 1 mile radius of a given address"? I would like to know if there is such a tool or any of existing RE websites have the feature.
