Mold on home bought
I bought a foreclosure about 5 years ago and about 2 years after that I found mold in a Linen closet in the ceiling. With it being a foreclosure, I can't say it was with held from the real estate agent can I? I know I should have been more proficient on my checks but nothing was listed on the surveys or appraisals! I also just found out that the exhaust fans are sparking and the insulation shows signs that it is shorting out. And the plug in in the front bathroom doesn't work and hasn't since I bought the house but wasn't aware until after. It doesn't have any power going to it at all. I am afraid the mold is affecting the air quality of the house and affecting my kids. Can someone give me some options here?
Thanks

Forget any recourse. The bank disclosed to you "they know nothing" about the house condition, you had right to inspect, and it took you 2 years to find mold? It's been 3 years and you haven't fixed it? Wash it, treat it, prime it with oil based primer, paint. Call an electrician.
