Increasing buyer agent commision

Hi, I noticed if I increase listing commission into 3.5%, The home is really having good output return from a marketing perspective.
However, what if I do the reverse? say increasing buyer agent comms. from 2.5% to 3.%, will it show a different result ?

If I listed a home with 2.5% going to the buyers agent (co-broke), that would generally be considered a discount.

I don't want to send that message to buyers agents in my market. So I always offer 3%.


 This is interesting.  Where I am the listing agent often gets a higher commission than the buyer's agent as the listing agents have more costs associated with the process.
