Condemned Real Estate

Josh Reisberg
Posted

I live in Maryland and there is a house not far from where I live that has been uninhabited for about 3 years now and has a paper on the front door saying it is condemned. This house is in a great location and I feel like it could be a very nice place. How can I find out why it was condemned? Do you think buying condemned real estate can be a good investment?

I am new to Bigger Pockets and I apologize if this has been asked before. Thank you for your advice.
