Buyer Transaction Fee
Hello,
First time poster. For anyone in DC metro/ NoVa, is it standard among major brokerages (Sotheby’s, Compass, long and foster etc) to charge a $400 buyer transaction fee (disclosed at front end of relationship)? Potential home purchase over $1m. We like agent and don’t want to start off on wrong foot and question/ ask for it to be waived if this fee is industry standard for our geographic location.
Thanks,
John
