Is there any types of plants that survive the Chicago weather this time of year, as we are about to sell a house in the dead of winter. The curb appeal is definitely lacking, or is it just not expected in December? Thanks, Margo

Boxwoods and any evergreens. You can technically plant any plant in the winter around here but most won't have leaves except boxwoods and evergreens.
