Seller Credit for Rate Buydown Strategy?
Has anyone had success attracting buyers by offering a seller credit for an interest rate buydown? An agent buddy of mine suggested it and it sounds like a potentially great sales tactic in the current environment.
I listed two homes at the beginning of August and I have not gotten nearly the amount of interest that I was expecting thanks to the rising interest rate. I've already dropped the list price a few times for both properties.
