Bought house at auction that has an owner occupied in law suite
I bought a house at auction and it is zoned for only having an in law suite if the house is owner occupied. I am nervous to call the town and be put on a radar. Want to weigh my options first.
Is it possible to rent the house out to one family? Is it possible to rent the house to two families? Is it possible to rent out rooms in the house? The house is in a college town.
Thank you for any input!

I would assume 'owner occupied' means that you, being the owner would need to live there. Did I miss something?
