Question on closing a sale

Folks - I am under contract for a property where we have issued notice to buyer than unless they cancel contract due to appraisal contingency we expect the sale to close on Monday at the offer price. However despite multiple follow ups from my realtor and broker the buyer side have not confirmed anything. They originally countered after appraisal but we declined it through the above notice. Now they have said they are sending an amended contract for slightly less than offer price but with two days left to closing we still have not received it. Despite multiple follow ups from. My broker and realtor they are not responding. This leaves me in a pickle because I do not know if closing is happening and as seller I would need to sign closing documents. Now I am out of state. So I will need to use a mobile notary. So am I to hire a mobile notary and sign all documents and incur the cost and let it be throwaway if buyer does not close?
