Asking a existing tenate to reach out to you before purchasing
I'm currently in negotiations for a property that is very close to a flood zone but I can not find evidence that it is in immediate danger. This property has a tenante that has been there for the better part of a decade.
Would it be appropriate/legal for me to ask him about flooding durring his time at the property? We have met once before durring a walk through. My current plan is to leave a leter with a small amount of cash in his mail box asking him to reach out to me if he is willing to share any information he has on the topic.
Thanks in advance!
