Turnkey Inspector refusal?!?
Buying my first turnkey. Doing my due diligence and found my own 3rd party inspector to inspect property (who was actually recommended here on bigger pockets).
Got this response from the turnkey company “….is the only inspector we don't work with. He has repeatedly tried to steal clients from us by directing them to other turnkey providers he must get kickbacks from - pretty significant conflict of interest. I've worked with most inspectors in the city though and am perfectly fine with literally any other inspector.”
Being a newbie at this, need help/suggestions on what should be my best course of action? Really appreciate all of the BP help on this

Not sure how they can refuse. Normally the seller has no idea who the inspector actually is. If you feel that strongly about it, push back; but if not find another inspector who you trust. I'd avoid any recommendations from the seller. Next time, do NOT tell them who the inspector is as it is none of their business. They only need to know the time of the inspection. You also do not need to share the inspection report.
If you get a different inspector, I would ask to extend the inspection clause and state that it is due to the seller refusing your first choice of inspector. Ie put it in writing.
