Should I sell My house to to make profit and rent ?

Exploring the idea of selling my house and renting to take advantage of the market. My thought process was sell, and keep all the cash liquid ready to purchase an investment property. The problem is I’d have to rent which would be between 2k-2.5k in my area. My mortgage is currently 1845. Thoughts on this ?
