Title address doesn't match survey address
Hi BP community!
We just bought a sfh, and the title says .......W 16th Street, but the survey says "16th St. W". The survey company says they can't change because, quote:
“IN LBX & STREET APPRAISAL DISTRICT CITES IT AS "W. 16TH STREET"
(PLAT - SIXTEENTH STREET)”
Because of that they are not able to change the address on the survey.
So I asked the title co to change it on their end. They came back with this reply:
The title work shows the correct LEGAL information (attached). All of the LEGAL information matches.
Title matches survey (attached) which matches central appraisal district. I have attached a copy of the (not yet signed) Warranty Deed that will be filed of public record. The legal and the address are correct. Because all of the LEGAL information is correct and because we insure on the LEGAL, nothing needs to be changed.
Should we worry about this discrepancy?
