How do you talk directly with the seller?

Might be a silly question, but what tactics/talk tracks with agents have you used in the past to speak directly to the seller?

In my experience the seller’s agent has been a gatekeeper and would not allowed me to speak directly with the sellers (or the seller’s requested I only speak directly with their agent).

@Sanderson Mittnacht Your experience is accurate. Seller's don't want to talk to buyers directly which is why they hire a listing agent. If they wanted to deal with it all themselves, they would FSBO. I would not recommend trying to get past the listing agent to talk directly with the seller. RE agents are hired for a reason and that should be respected.
