Multifamily investment in Secaucus New Jersey - Pros and Cons?

I am looking into investing in secaucus new jersey, and wonder if anyone can provide more insight of the area. Some people are telling me that it is quite desolated, but I am seeing new development happening in the town. Commute is also relatively easy to NYC within 40 min via bus. I also feel like you can get a lot more space for your money compared to the gold coast areas. 

Is anyone from/near the area that can share their experience of Secaucus?
