Tax benefits of re-investing in STR
We opened our first short term rental the last weekend of August. We also own a C-Corp business. I have the opportunity to sell the C-Corp netting 700,000. My question is, can I invest it in real estate (specifically STR's) and avoid income tax or capital gains on it? I do have an appointment with my account so I'm just looking for general ideas here.
