House hacking question
House hack Question, Hello everyone... I've been overseas working for the US Department of Defense, in Kuwait, for the last 3 years. I live in Government provided quarters and don't own any property in the US. Would I be able to buy a Quadraplex in Florida and just not rent one of the units out to any tenants. Would I be able to make that unit my home of record, even though I would only be able to stay in that particular unit for 30 days out of the year, if that. Due to my profession overseas. I could put the utilities etc... in my name. Would this be legal?
