Purchasing home after owner dies
Hello
An elderly neighbor recently passed away. She had possibly 1 living relative, a grandson who lives in CA. But, unsure if he is still alive or was in contact with her. She had no other relatives. I am interested in buying the property. How do I do this?

Do you mean find her heir first? You said find he first and she has passed away.
Of course that is what he meant. Why would you find a dead person?
