Opportunity Zone Tax Implications

Hey everyone. I was just curious if anyone has taken advantage of using their capital gains from the stock market towards opportunity zone investing. I know that you can do this when putting it towards an accredited opportunity zone fund but curious whether anyone has done this when it comes to purchasing investment properties. The language when it comes to this seems unclear as it implies that you can do it on a property that requires significant renovation or needs to be completely rebuilt. Has anyone had experience with this?
