Underwriting Headaches And What to Do
So, I'm new to the whole REI world, and just put my first property under contract. I'm self employed and have had a successful business for at least 10 years. Underwriting has been running me in circles over this. They preapproved me at least 6 weeks ago, and I've gotten in dozens of verifying documentation to them....and they still want MORE. So I guess my question is two fold: is this typical? At what point do you just put your foot down and say you're going to shop around for someone else? If it matters, it's currently with Wells Fargo.
