Any advice when I bought a house based on a bad inspection report
Hi all,
Newbie here. I have bought a house through an online platform, based on the inspection report they provided. The report said all the big things were ok but after the closing I got my own inspection report on the house and found it had rotten wood in the roof, leaking and mold in bathrooms, sinking foundation and a broken HVAC system. The original inspection report provided by the online platform specifically marked all of these items as "OK". Does anyone know if I have any grounds to force a refund from the platform or chase the original inspector to fix these items on their insurance or something? The purchase was in TX. I can't bring the platform itself to court, only arbitration, has anyone had any success there?
Really appreciate any thoughts or advice!
