Hi @Mason Peterson!  The actually obtaining of the license is a pretty "you-name'-it" process speed-wise.  The biggest limiting factor in most states is completing the mandatory education requirements, which are usually given in terms of hours of class-time. 

After you complete the educational requirements you usually apply, do a background check, and wait for some time afterwards.  I've seen agents in my states go end-to-end in 7 weeks and others take 8 months, but the educational requirement and general urgency of the applicant typically keeps that numbers down nicely.
