Title Company Closing and Getting Paid!

Hello BP,

I am happy to announce that I finally assigned my first wholesale deal in Florida and I'm very excited about it! But, now I have a problem that I need to tackle. I have my brand new LLC that I am using for this transaction, and not doing it under my personal name.

So, I was just asked by the title company for my 1099 so I can get paid directly for my wholesale fee but I am new to this and I don't have a 1099 Form for my LLC. What is it that I need to get my 1099, or what is it that I need to get paid by the title company? Can't I just get paid by a check?

Note: I formed my single-member LLC this year (around August/September 2021) so I still haven't filed taxes for it.

Thank you in advance!

@Jose Vasquez Dickson give them a w9 so they can issue you a 1099.
