Where's the Real Money?

How's it going BP? Today, my mind began to wonder and I began to think where is the real money in real estate.. Yes everyone has their own method they love to use that they think is a gold mine. But as new investor I would like to know where to start from and where I should end.. Every successful business has a business plan, but I figure every successful person should have a map. Basically having their starting point where they are now, a ending point which should be their success level, and points in between to get to their ending point.. So this forum is basically a how did you start out, and where do you see yourself at your ending point..
