Best strategies for renovating my mobile home

Mason Carlson
Posted

Hi everyone, looking for some advice as I'm new to real estate investing. I currently live in a mobile home, this thing hadn't seen a single renovation when I bought it, ICBC is now insisting I do some upgrades or they wont insure it anymore. Heres a little info, purchased 3 years ago for $44k 5% down. I currently have almost 0 cash on hand for these renos. Looking to see if anyone wants to share any advice on creative financing to get these renos out of the way.

@Mason Carlson It's best to start a list of what you need to do the mobile home. From there, gather the information on what it will cost to hire it out (get multiple bids) and/or you do the work yourself. This way, you'll have an idea of exactly how much you need to do the repairs. Hope that helps!
