RV/Tiny Home Park Location - Texas

How important is the location for an RV/Tiny Home Park to be near a major freeway in your opinion? How about if it is 5-10 miles on the inside road? The land here in North Texas is all flat.

@Daniel Ryu In CA cities that count THOWs as an ADU, yes permanent year round occupancy is allowed. THOWs are built at 9 and 10' wide as well, but special permits are required to move them. I've heard the permits aren't that expensive, but I don't have an actual number, and it varies by state.

Most companies that build THOWs build a few a month, usually in rented or borrowed warehouses. Each home is unique, and is therefore constructed by hand, with plans. The same one isn't made over and over with slot A going into slot B. One company tried manufacturing just a few floorplans, and is now out of business. After the Tiny is completed, it is shipped to the owner's location. Ballpark shipping cost from TN to CA is $4000, just for reference.

Most cities that have approved THOWs as ADUs would like the Tiny to be ANSI certified. THOWs being a little new, the code is still evolving, but the primary emphasis is on fire safety, electrical, and plumbing.

You're welcome - I'm happy to share and help any way I can! Feel free to DM me if you want to know which company I think is the most investor friendly :)
