On the 22nd of last month I got a call from one of our ads in the Wheeler Dealer that says, "we buy mobile homes 1990 or newer-any condition-CASH." The seller on the other end of the phone stated that his home was a 1988 28
*48 with all appliances, in good shape with a four year old roof! He had been trying to sell for two yrs since his mother had passed away. H said he would let it go for $12k over the phone. I told him the most it would be worth to me was $8,000 and, asked if he still wanted me to come over and take a look. He said yes!

When I got there I noticed a brokers sign in the window and I asked if it was listed. He said it was but, that the listing expired. I asked how much it was listed for and he said $22k!!! I looked around-took my measurements and checked out that everything was working and that the axles and hitches were present. I ended up offering him $7,500 on the spot and, he took the deal. I sent him to go get the title and called my buyer who said he would be right over. I walked him through the home and made the deal just before the seller came back and traded me the title for the check! Not a bad day:)
